Joining url.community is free. Fees apply only when a domain is successfully sold or purchased.

Members can list domains with a variety of extensions, including .com, .net, .org, .io, .ai, .co, .pro, and many others, subject to applicable registration and transfer restrictions.

Create an account, enter the domain you wish to sell, choose its categories and set your asking price, then verify that you own it. Once it is verified, your listing goes live on the marketplace for buyers to discover.

url.community charges a 10% commission on the final selling price when your domain sells.

For example, if your domain sells for $1,000, the commission is $100, and you receive $900.

No. Listing a domain is free. You pay a commission only when your domain sells.

Yes. Sellers set their own asking prices and can change them at any time before the domain sells, from the Edit option on their dashboard. When you list, url.community suggests a price range based on the name's length, extension, categories and how easily it reads — a starting point, not an appraisal.

Yes. Members may list as many domains as they like, one at a time or in bulk from a list, making url.community useful for both occasional sellers and domain investors managing portfolios.

Yes. You can list domains registered with any registrar, provided you own the domains or are authorized to sell them. Ownership is verified with a DNS record, a meta tag, a file on your site, or a registrar connection.

Yes. Any number of buyers can make offers on the same domain, and the seller sees every offer and can accept, decline, or counter each one.

Every listing has its own page and a Share button. Share the link anywhere — Facebook, LinkedIn, X, email, or your own website — and anyone who opens it can buy the domain or make an offer.

The buyer's payment is held securely in escrow while you transfer the domain. Once the buyer confirms they have received it, the payment, less the commission, is released to the payout account you connected with Stripe.

Once the transaction and transfer are completed, you become the domain's registered holder, subject to the registrar's terms and applicable domain registration requirements.

Yes. You may purchase as many domains as you like. The $12 transaction fee applies to each domain purchased.

Transfers within the same registrar can be completed quickly. Transfers between registrars can take several days, depending on the domain extension, registrar policies, and applicable restrictions.

Every listing is ownership-verified before it appears on the marketplace. Sellers prove control of the domain with a DNS record, a meta tag, a file on the domain's website, or a connection to their registrar account.

Your payment stays in escrow until the transfer is confirmed. If the transfer cannot be completed, you are refunded in full — the purchase price and the transaction fee.

Domain purchases are final once the transfer has been completed and confirmed, except where required by law. Before that point, a transfer that fails is refunded in full.
